It is truly my passion to work with people who want to dive deeper into their relationship with Jesus. I love helping people explore fresh ways to pray, encounter God in scripture, and learn the voice of the Holy Spirit.
God longs to pour out grace, and healing. He longs to help His people receive a greater sense of their identity in Christ, and live from the wellspring of His love. I love to be a guide on that journey with anyone who will let me join. Seeing people break through their life-challenges and walk with them into the light for repentance and freedom is my favorite thing to experience in life.
My own journey has been filled with many of life’s dark spaces, like my parents divorce, depression, suicidal thoughts, marriage ups and downs, grief, Dark Night of the Soul, and church hurt. However, the Lord has been gracious to provide comfort and wisdom, teaching me to know His voice, walk in obedience, and grow in holiness.
It is my hope to be able to walk alongside those who are struggling and offer the same light that God has shone in my own life. I have had the privilege of offering non-clinical counseling for the last 20 years as I have served alongside my husband in pastoral ministry. Because of that experience, I have a special place in my heart to serve pastors, their spouses, and full time church workers.
My heart is truly grateful when I see people thriving in their relationship with God, able to hear the Holy Spirit, and walk in deeper fellowship and life-freedom with Jesus.
Being filled with the Spirit is simply this - having my whole nature yielded to His power. When the whole soul is yielded to the Holy Spirit, God Himself will fill it.

Just a little window into who I am and what I love to do.
I am a wife to a loving husband of 25 years. I have been a homeschooling mom to 3 kids, where I have taught high school science, art, and theology.
As a family, we love to explore the nooks and crannies of Florida, go camping, and experience the National Parks (The Grand Canyon being my personal favorite). We also love to watch Sci-Fi movies together, and try exotic foods. I am a huge reader, digging into biographies with friends, and lots of books on spiritual formation, plus a few fun novels when there’s a free moment. I engage in all things artistic as well, like painting, drawing, embroidery, and interior design.
When given the opportunity, I jump at the chance to teach on the Holy Spirit, the spiritual disciplines, Bible and doctrine.

You won’t find fixed prices listed here, because at Equinox we want to help you based on your individual needs. Most counselors in the area charge somewhere between 75 to 150 an hour, and if you can hit that range, wonderful. But we do not want finances to keep you away from getting the help you need. We want you to have some ‘skin in the game’ but do not want to be the cause of undue burden. We are asking that you prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you pay and then be obedient to what He asks.
Spiritual Direction:
Spiritual direction is focused time to contemplate your relationship with God where we will ponder your walk with God in new ways, asking open ended questions, and listening to the Holy Spirit together, often inviting you into practicing many of the spiritual disciplines together and in our time apart.
Individual Counseling:
Individual Counseling is focused on life’s issues, relationships, and personal healing with a prayerful and Biblical perspective.
Inner Healing Prayer:
Our time will be spent in prayer and seeking the Holy Spirit to get to root causes of sin and areas of struggle. There is a focus on confession, repentance, and healing work through listening to one another and welcoming the Holy Spirit.
Deliverance and Generational Healing:
A focused time of prayer dealing with spiritual forces and generational sin that may be working against your healing. Confession, repentance, and listening to the Holy Spirit are all a part of the process, as well as casting out the enemy. I use Sam Storms, Rob Reimer, Francis MacNutt, Jack Deere, and Neil Anderson all as references.
Prayer for Physical Healing:
A focused time of listening to the Holy Spirit for possible hindrances to physical healing in your life. Soaking Prayer, and prayers of command may be used to help heal your physical body, though ultimately the Lord decides the results.
